In this hands-on beginner friendly macrame class you'll be working with high quality recycled cotton rope and learn commonly used macrame knots to create a functional piece of fiber art you'll enjoy for years to come.
Our Fiber Artist & Instructor Janel will provide group instruction as well as one on one guidance (as needed) so you leave with a complete project along with a sense of accomplishment and the desire to continue creating at home!

Class is 2 hours long but it is very possible you will finish your project in less time depending on how quickly you work, everyone works differently and it is not a race!
ALL SUPPLIES PROVIDED AT CLASS. Your project will be made of recycled cotton rope and a driftwood stick. There will be various rope colors to choose from upon arriving to class, if you have a strong color preference please arrive early for optimum selection. Projects will be suspended from the ceiling and worked vertically, you will have the option to stand while working or pull up a chair to sit if that is more comfortable for you. You will learn 1 commonly used macrame knot along with a standard overhand knot in class.
This project was created with the intention of holding 3 small pots. Please feel free to bring yours to class or there is the option to add a set to your ticket for an additional charge.
