Have you noticed the rotating art in the back bar area? It is changing again! We will be hosting an open house (complete with live DJ) with The Garfield Art Gallery to celebrate our newest artist, Nate Bruington, on Thursday, May 4th from 5-8 pm.

About Nate:

"My work is drawing, painting, and recently digital art and graphic design. I would say my influences are classical art, medieval, renaissance art, contemporary art. I’m interested in things like landscapes, poster art, traditional illustration and tattoo art.

I believe the best and most interesting kinds of art are challenging and thought provoking. Good art can be more than simply eye candy. It can make the viewer feel something or challenge their usual ways of thinking. The viewer should feel something whether that feeling is good or bad. Maybe beautiful and even disturbing at the same time. That’s what I try to achieve with my work."
